CGC graders provide impartial evaluations of collectible magazines. Because we don’t buy or sell collectibles, our sole focus is on providing magazine collectors with an unbiased opinion of quality and authenticity. CGC is an independent member of the Certified Collectibles Group, the leading provider of value-added certification services for collectibles.
Every magazine graded by CGC is reviewed by knowledgeable professionals who conduct a comprehensive examination of both individual magazines and entire collections. Magazines are assigned a grade on a 10-point grading scale to efficiently communicate the assessment of the magazine’s condition. After examination, magazines are encapsulated in a tamper-evident holder along with the CGC certification label. While the holders can be safely opened by the magazine collector, they are designed with long-term preservation and display in mind.
